Centre Township provides temporary, short-term assistance to township residents who are unable to provide for their basic needs, such as food, clothing, shelter, utilities and other necessities. Individuals and families who apply for assistance must provide proof of township residency as well as their financial inability to provide for their needs.
It’s important to know that township assistance is meant to be a temporary remedy, and that not everyone will qualify for direct financial assistance. Whether you qualify, we will assist in connecting you to other programs and community resources that may be able to help.
